Today I am proudly introducing the ROAD TO RUIN FEST. For those of you who might not know, the Road To Ruin Fest is a completely independent punk/ rock & roll festival to be held in Philadelphia. The fest is being booked without the help of corporate sponsorship and everything is coming out of the pockets of the organizers. The organizers include Evil Weevil Records, Chikara Wrestling and Dead Industry.
Road To Ruin is a three day festival that will take place in Philadelphia during the weekend of April 20th to the 22nd. Each day will be held at a different venue and each day features a slew of different bands, ranging from mainly local acts to New Jersey, New York, Washington DC and beyond. Believe it or not, there is also a wrestling portion of the weekend which will take place on the 21st. Now do yourself a favor and imagine that combination – endless amounts of performing bands with a wrestling match right in the middle of all the action. Definitely sounds like a memorable weekend.
