Last we heard from BOZMO he was dropping his debut album from Boston, MA. Since then he’s relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area and B a Tree is his newest output since the move.
Bozmo (otherwise known as Bo Moore) has been sending us over his gritty, ecstatic pop songs for a good chunk of time now. The thing about that is no matter how much time goes by (or how much changes) between each new recording, Moore always seems to retain the same bubbly pop charm we’ve come to expect. His latest efforts on B a Tree are far from an exception. The song is driven by big, crusty guitar hooks that blow the song open at the seams from the get-go, making way for mangled guitar screeching and Moore’s bold, blown-out howl. “Lakehouse” is a bit lighter in comparison, with sunny vibes that are backed by the brightness of the guitars, creating a shimmer throughout the track that again shows Moore’s ability to write songs like these. Hear them both right below, right now!
