Ty Segall/ Feeling of Love – Split 7″

Coming from the one and only Permanent Records in Chicago is a brand new split 7″ between TY SEGALL and THE FEELING OF LOVE. The single was pressed in an edition of just 550 for their recent US tour together.

Speaking of such tours, our own contributor John posted up an awesome review of their show together at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco. There’s some live footage amongst other things so you might want to check that out!

However as far as this 7″ goes, both bands have included a track apiece that is exclusive to this 7″ only. Segall’s inclusion “It’s a Problem” sounds like it could have fit excellently on his latest album “Goodbye Bread“, featuring his crunchy guitar onslaughts that burst into a rowdy and rollicking roll that will surely get your blood pumping. As for the Feeling of Love’s inclusion on the 7″, they sound just as rowdy in their own right. Lead by menacing synthesizers and sharp, driving guitars, this song erupts about three-quarters of the way through, shoving wild guitar shards down our throat which only makes for quite an exhilarating 7” single. Listen to both sides below right now, you’ll be glad you did.
