French fuzz punks LOS DOS HERMANOS have a brand new 7″ titled Alienor on Six Tonnes De Chair Records. The wax is limited to 150 copies (75 on green vinyl, 75 on red), including a B-side medley of Ty Segall covers.
Following their crushing debut on Howlin’ Banana Records, the Bordeaux duo is back again with their fuzz-fucked surf punk. “Alienor” is their own scuzzy track, littered with buzzy guitar hooks and crashing percussion. Boy-girl vocals sound totally concentrated, almost like the duo is howling from the inside of a deep cavern. Sharp guitar shrills cut through trippy strobe light textures, sealing up a completely relentless track. On the B-side the band covers two classic Ty Segall tracks, namely “Standing At the Station” and “Oh Mary.” They’re brief but completely awesome, closing out the 7″ with two jagged slabs of gritty pop. Grab this 7″ now because they’re not going to last long!
