Little Legend – No Way To Tell EP

little legend no way to tell ep record machine 2013

Courtesy of our friends over at the Record Machine, No Way To Tell is the second EP from Madison, WI wrecking crew LITTLE LEGEND. Their sound is heavily consistent on their EP, blending a dense mixture of grungy rock through four tracks.

Clocking in at just over 16 minutes, together the four piece band creates these well-crafted slow-burners, rarely jumping anywhere above a mid-tempo pace. Their songs are clean and polished around the edges, leaving plenty of room for Brandy John Tudor’s rugged, triumphant howl in their leadoff single “Bailout.” The song creeps along at a staggering pace, making for an immediately memorable chorus as it all breaks down with menacing guitar squeals. “My baby’s coming to bail me out” slurs Tudor over the searing guitars, backed by a marching rhythm that buries you deeper and deeper into the simmering fuzz. Opener “Nowhere Fast” starts things carefully with a smokey guitar buzz, quickly solidifying with a catchy chorus decorated by noisy guitars and more howling vocals. It quickly sets the tone for this grungy EP, which you won’t want to miss out on below! While you’re at it, check the video below for their single “Bailout.”
