“Skulls in Zen” hits the jugular with a searing riff and walls of distortion that will drive you to your knees. “Only Love” employs funeral dirge-type riffs fueled by slamming percussion and a huge hook that would be perfect for a report on road rage on The News at 5. “I’m a Skull” slams forward with crunch n’ roll that tears apart traditional punk conventions with total dissonance, then melds all the madness together with an epic hook that repeats until a blazing lead surfaces to bring you back through the stratosphere to the hyper-reality of our existence.
