Pain Dimension – Brainwash 7″ EP

pain dimension croque macadam requiem pour un twister brainwash 7 ep 2014

PAIN DIMENSION is a trio from Melun in the suburbs of Paris, France. They just released their first 7″ EP Brainwash as a split release from Croque Macadam and Requiem Pour Un Twister Records in France.

The 7″ is packed with fuzzy psych rock, driven by a pummeling garage-punk spirit. Single opener “Brainwash” shows off their sound with crunchy, sand-blasted guitars and a foreboding wobble. Guitars screech with the utmost fury, exposing heavy melodic qualities as the band crushes you with their gritty swagger. “Who Plays With My Hands” comes with a blues-flavored edge, built with twangy guitars that sound bright but deliciously evil. Vocals echo out from the shadowy depths as the track carefully creeps along. “Everything Spinning” unfolds like a dizzying whirlwind. It’s made up with crashing percussion that buckles under the weight of the guitar, reducing everything to a pile of rubble. Start listening to the 7″ now – it’s limited to 250 pieces with first 150 on red wax.
