Zig Zags – Scavenger/Monster Wizard 7″

zig zags scavenger monster wizard 7 who can you trust 2013

Of course we were looking for an excuse to post about ZIG ZAGS again. The Los Angeles-based band just released their first record in Europe on Who Can You Trust? Records in Germany. The 7″ combines the A-sides from their previous singles on Mexican Summer and Tubesteak Tuesday.

Who Can You Trust? Records did us all a large favor with this 7″ gem here. Since both of the initial Zig Zags 7″ were limited to just 300 and quickly sold out, the songs get to see the light of day again on this new slab of wax. “Scavenger” was the A-side on the band’s very first single on Mexican Summer, while “Monster Wizard” comes from the A-side on their 7″ from Tubesteak Tuesday Records. Both songs deserve a new lease on life in their own right, so we’re hoping you take full advantage by snagging this 7″ before it’s too late! So as we begin to head into 2014, hopefully there’s more to hear more from these grungy Los Angeles punks down the line. In the meantime, if you haven’t yet for some crazy fucking reason, listen to these songs below and revisit our old links at the bottom of the post.
