After their debut album White Aura, Louisville, KY duo WHITE REAPER return with their new 7″ Conspirator. It’s the first release for Earthbound Records, which is also based in Louisville.
Dropping their first 7″, the duo in White Reaper consists of Nick Wilkerson on drums and Anthony Esposito on guitar. Conspirator brings in two heavy cuts of their fuzz-crusted punk rock. The songs are bursting at the seams with Esposito’s melodic guitar hooks, followed by careening vocals that are both distorted and raspy. The song itself sounds like it was put through a paper shredder, boasting enough searing metallic fuzz to singe the hair clean off your face. The song begins to grow with a pummeling bridge, fronted by stomping percussion and pent-up blasts of guitar scuzz. As it unfolds the track hits like a ton of bricks, driving straight into the destructive finale with the relentless chant of “Conspirator!” To put it simply folks, you’re not going to want to miss this. Listen to the 7″ below along with B-side “The Cut,” then go snag the 7″ from Earthbound Records – limited blue vinyl still available!
