The London based Beautiful Strange Records is releasing the debut 7″ from Torquay five-piece BIG WAVE. The 7″ drops November 5th and will come with two new tracks of their bubbly garage pop.
These two tracks show off a clean and tidy strand of garage pop that is easy to love. Their sound consists a contagious energy filled out with cooing vocals and warming guitars, creating an inviting tone with an innocent spirit. This is only their debut and they’re already making some catchy pop tunes, which might call for future consideration with whatever comes next. It starts with the soaring “Only You,” which comes along with a video that illustrates the story in the lyrics. Lead singer Ella Carey-Phillips sounds crystal clear in the breezy B-side “Living Room,” leading the track with her lovably blissful tone. The track ends with a gleaming guitar solo, sealing up the 7″ with a calm and cooling vibe.
