The JACUZZI BOYS of Miami just released their sophomore album “Glazin'” on Hardly Art. The first lucky 300 pre-orders came with this 7″ here, a single-sided opaque green single with a cover of Kim Fowley’s “Born Dancer”.
We haven’t taken that close of a look at the new Jacuzzi Boys album just yet despite what’s already been said. That’s sure to happen in due time, however I have been able to make some time for this “Born Dancer” cover by Kim Fowley whenever the chance comes around. It’s a two-and-a-half minute, steadily paced blues rockin’ good time about a fiery love affair. The Boys resurrect this song from Fowley’s 1973 album “International Heroes” and give it their own tastefully upbeat vibes, culminating in twangy guitar solos of pure lust and the guaranteed need to hit replay. Listen to it below and see just what you think!
